Project Nicaragua
Summer 2011 Trip.
Where?
We served in Jiquilillo, Nicaragua for the Youth Ranches. Jiquilillo is a small beach town on the Pacific side of the country. The people here are desperate for the fulfillment of material needs, but more importantly, for the gospel. Most of these people either have a works mentality for salvation or have no idea who God is. The Youth Ranches seek to spread the gospel among the children in the community by providing English classes and other programs to not only witness to the children, but also the parents.
When?
The Nicaragua mission trips took place July 14th – 24th.
What?
We were able to serve by building, putting on nightly youth outreach meetings, teaching English, working on the medical clinic and giving Bible lessons for the young children.
