Reaching “outside” the church walls to minister to youth using any proven and experimental method.
Vision Statement
The Outsiders team will be a refuge to all youth especially the unchurched and the de-churched (those on the “outside”) youth. The Outsiders team will use various proven and experimental methods of reaching out to the youth of South Atlanta. Our team activities include visiting their schools, their hang-outs, their school sporting events, clubs, etc. We provide one-on-one mentoring, small group mentoring, Bible studies, weekly large gatherings, quarterly events, summer and winter camps, and various seminars for training and development of the youth.
What We Believe
We believe that the most important thing a youth can learn and know is how much God loves them and wants to have a personal relationship with them.
Purpose
- Provide a positive place for the youth of south Atlanta to feel loved and accepted.
- To reflect God’s love on the youth of today.
- Provide Biblical based teaching and training
- Be an outreach extension of the local church
